Our surf school is the best in Ecuador for beginner and intermediate surfers. Our beach is fully sand bottom, making it super safe compared to locations breaking over reef or rocks.
Surf Lessons
We run private and group surf classes Monday to Saturdays all year round. Sunday lessons are available upon request. We meet at the surf school at the time of the lesson, grab boards and head to the beach together.The exact times of surf lessons depend upon tide and wind conditions, so they vary from week to week.
To keep our group surf classes high value, we limit the number of students to 4 per surf instructor.
We provide your surfboard (waxed and with a leash) and rashguard during your lesson.

Surf Lessons for kids
Age 5+ Our 1 hour Introduction to Surfing lessons for kids are designed to give your children a taste of the thrill of surfing on the Olon Beach! All levels are welcome!
Class Structure
- Identify the parts of the surf board and equipment
- Basic surf awareness
- Recognize hazards in the surf such as rips
- Learn the steps to standing on a board
- Ride a broken wave in the white wash assisted by the instructor
- How to fall off safely in the shallows.
